Page size: 3-3/4 x 2-7/8 x 1/2 inches; 16pp. Bound: by Erin Fletcher of Herringbone Bindery: modified Tue-mouche with Drum Leaf text block in hand-decorated paper by the artist over boards in pale green with hand-painted design in black and red highlighted with gold leaf dots, resembling a very beautiful hand-drawn map; spine in St. Armand Olive paper, endpapers hand painted ressembling street map grid in green and pink. An elegant binding on a charming book with text excerpted from PARIS, FRANCE by Gertrude Stein. The book is printed letterpress by Rob Charlton at Goosefish Press. With additional handprinting, 2 linoleum (Eiffel Tower and Miss Stein) on Arches paper. Additional images are drawn in ink on various pages, including dictionary pages, which are used in collage on Gertrude Stein's vest. There is a hand drawn pencil framed with 22 c. gold leaf. "Handle with Care" is a piece of ephemera from the Boston Athenaeum to warn members to be careful with newspapers. It is drawn in ink and wash. The page with the scissors image had embroidery thread sewn into the paper. The text on the page opposite the pencil reads "One of the pleasantest things those of us who write or paint do is to have The Daily Miracle. It does come. G. Stein."
