The text is handset in 14pt. English Monotype Bell, set at Out of Sorts Letter Foundry in Mamaroneck, NY. It was printed by Heritage Printers in Charlotte, NC. The two colored etchings by well-known American landscape painter and printmaker, Neil Welliver, are a combination of three plates. One black with both line etching the color and aquatint and two additional aquatint plates for the colors. The three plates were printed into a piece of dampened paper one after the other to insure proper registration of the three in each finished print. One of the etchings is of a deer, accompanying the story, "The Old People" and the other is a bear, accompanying the story of the same name. Faulkner's two stories are well served by this edition.
